📣 We are very pleased to announce that SYMPHILO 📣 We are very pleased to announce that SYMPHILOSOPHIE 5 (2023) is now published!

The main section on the topic "Romantic Aesthetics and Freedom" was guest edited by Anne Pollok (Universitaet Mainz).

The whole issue contains 12 new research articles, 5 new translations, 4 book reviews, and a bulletin of the latest publications in the field of philosophical studies on romanticism - all in open access on our journal's website.

We are delighted to announce Marie-Michèle Blondin (Collège Montmorency / CCEAE, Université de Montréal), Luigi Filieri (Universität Mainz), Cody Staton (Kennesaw State University), and Gesa Wellmann (Universität Oldenburg), as guest editors of this issue. They will be in charge of the main section devoted to the topic: 

ROMANTICISM AND ITS KANTIAN LEGACY

📣 Call for Abstracts: Conference: Art as Phil 📣 Call for Abstracts: Conference: Art as Philosophy? The Reception of Classical German Philosophy by Artists from the 19th Century to the Present Day

4-6 April 2024, Paris (location to be confirmed)

Organisers: Mildred Galland-Szymkowiak (CNRS / ENS), Julie Ramos 
(University of Strasbourg) 

Proposals for papers, consisting of a title, an abstract of approx. 3,000 characters including spaces and a biographical note of around 1,000 characters including spaces, should be sent to the following address: dessin.visionnaire.usias@gmail.com

Abstracts can be sent in English, French or German.

Submission deadline: 1st October 2023
